Explore Calgary this September by visiting one of the six restaurants featured on Canada’s Best New Restaurant list for 2022, walking through two of the largest urban parks in North America — Fish Creek Provincial Park and Nose Hill Park, or living out your childhood at the Calgary Zoo — internationally recognized for world-class animal care and habitat design practices.
Arrive early to Calgary and chase the spirit of the west with its surrounding breath-taking mountainous scenery by visiting some world-famous national parks, like Banff National Park and Jasper National Park.
IG Apex Exchange participants are responsible for making their own travel and hotel reservations. All business sessions will take place at the Telus Centre, 136 8 Ave SE, Calgary, AB.
2023 IG Apex Exchange is now a three-night program, offering more time for learning, connection, and culture! The conference will take place September 10–13, 2023. It is best to plan for arrivals on the 10th by 3:00 p.m. for a 5:15 p.m. departure to the Welcome Reception. Departures can take place anytime on the 13th.
Participants are welcome to access the IG Wealth Management American Express Travel Centre for one-on-one personal service when making air or rail travel reservations. The travel centre provides comprehensive support while you are on the road and can help you if you need to change your plans or if you find yourself in need of emergency travel assistance. The preferred agency service charge that is applied to each reservation is $47.10 including taxes.
The American Express Travel Centre is open Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (CST) and can be contacted at 1-888-554-6112. Follow the prompts (1 for English; 2 for French) then press 2 to speak to an American Express travel counselor. Identify yourself as an IG Apex Exchange attendee. Booking early will provide the best value.
IG has secured special rates at the following hotels. Each is conveniently located in close proximity to the Telus Convention Centre – with the Calgary Marriott Downtown and Hyatt Regency Calgary directly connected to the centre via internal path.
Be sure to book your hotels before August 8th to take advantage of the group rate for conference attendees (based on availability). Hotel space may sell out before the August 8th deadline, so book your accommodation early to avoid disappointment. Identify that you are attending the IG Apex Exchange to receive the group room rates when making reservations at our conference hotels:
